Books Readings Recommendation
For a continuous update of research and applications in companies, we read several areas such as: Business, People Management, Psychology, Philosophy, Politics, Sociology, Technology, Religion and others themes. For that, we leave below some lists of readings carried out in recent years at AI-Labs.
2021 - Cesar Souza - The way of being Magalu
The book presents a Brazilian case of retail stores. What caught my attention was the succession part of a large company structured by three people, Luiza, Marcelo and Fred. Succession is an interesting issue, especially in companies with more than 50 years of existence.
The customer passion model reflects Amazon's vision stated by Bezos and replicated at Magalu. Valuing people can be a good way for organizations of the future that will work in a Physical and Digital (Figital) way. I am surprised by the format that the author presents the book, bringing data from the case study in a secondary way, a method that I have used and defended.
2015 - Aristides Girardi - How to make it rain in your garden
The book presents the experiences of a successful executive and consultant. Surprisingly, the tips and tools presented by the author reflect international models with a South American vision.
For young people who are starting their careers, the book can contribute by bringing steps and tips for a balance between career, health and family. What caught my attention was the proposal P -> S -> A = R. Thoughts, Feelings, Actions and Results. I hope to be able to apply it in my trajectory as coordinator in the university area.
20XX - Carlos Henrique Zornitta - The Price of New Alliance
